The Book Of Nehemiah

Pastor Luis Santiago draws from the Book of Nehemiah to emphasize the importance of collective effort, leadership, unity, and commitment in rebuilding and restoring, both in the church and personal lives. He uses the story of Nehemiah and his own church's renovation experience to illustrate the power of manual labor and unity in achieving common goals. He encourages active participation in church activities, not as spectators but as co-laborers with Christ, and stresses the need for continual prayer, fasting, and standing firm in faith. He also invites those struggling with personal issues to seek God's love and presence, and to repair their 'broken gates' through repentance and seeking counsel. Lastly, he discusses the prophetic meanings of the gates in Nehemiah's story, relating them to various aspects of Christian life and growth.
