Small Groups

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

We believe that Small Groups are instrumental to the spiritual growth and maturity of every believer.  Small Groups help people get to know the God of the Word, build deeper relationships with other believers and fulfill one of God's purposes for the church. Fellowship is more than a hand shake on Sunday morning.  Fellowship is deep and sincere, non-superficial connection!  Therefore, every person in our church is strongly encouraged to join a Small Group.

Many people are familiar with Psalm 23. But because we all know it, we often breeze through the psalm without slowing down long enough to rest in the assurance it offers. In this 6-part series on Psalm 23, pastor Matt Chandler introduces us to the great shepherd, the Lord, who promises to provide for every need of his flock. Though only six verses long, this psalm teaches us profound truths about our loving and protective God. By studying Psalm 23, we’ll encounter a life-transforming question: Do you trust the Lord to care for your needs?

One question we need to be considering as believers is, "If the message of Christianity is true and the best news the world will ever hear, why are so many people rejecting it?" There are five major reasons why people reject the message of the Gospel and Christianity. In this series we're calling Belief Barriers, we are going to plow through each of these objections to our faith, not just to answer them, but to call the church to account for where we have failed in these areas. This way, we can do our part to take down the barriers that are keeping people from believing in and accepting their Savior, Jesus Christ.

This group will be utilizing RightNow Media during these sessions.
