Small Groups

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

We believe that Small Groups are instrumental to the spiritual growth and maturity of every believer.  Small Groups help people get to know the God of the Word, build deeper relationships with other believers and fulfill one of God's purposes for the church. Fellowship is more than a hand shake on Sunday morning.  Fellowship is deep and sincere, non-superficial connection!  Therefore, every person in our church is strongly encouraged to join a Small Group.

The world teaches us to revolve our actions, thoughts, and beliefs around ourselves. “It’s all about you!” we are encouraged to think. In the world’s philosophy, we become the author and hero of our story. But the Bible teaches a different view, one where another hero—the actual Author of life—takes center stage. In the book of Job, God asserts his preeminence and displays his power. Join Francis Chan in this eight-session series on Job as he explores the overriding truth that we exist not for ourselves but to glorify the God who deserves all worship and praise.

Rejection often finds its way into our hearts at an early age. Perhaps as a child you were teased mercilessly for your hair or clothes, or you received an injury and couldn't play the sport you loved and had to watch from the sidelines, or maybe like Lysa TerKeurst, an adult who should have cared for you and nurtured you, left without explanation. These wounds dig deep into our sense of self and can resurface in surprising ways as an adult. However, this doesn't have to be the end of the story. In Uninvited, Lysa shares honestly from her own struggles with rejection and gives us concrete truths to combat the lies our old Enemy hurls our way. You can stop feeling left out, because even when you are overlooked by others, you are handpicked by God. You can change your tendencies to either fall apart or control the actions of others by adopting healthy ways to process your hurt. You are designed for a love without limits, a love that will never let go.
